I love the smell of enamel paint in the morning

I just finished painting what may be my last batch of guitar pedals for z.vex effects. Painting these things was one of the best things I've ever been paid to do, but I moved to a new town and I'm starting a new job. I'm really going to miss the smell of that toxic paint...

The Sketchbook Project

Art House Co-op is doing this great thing called The Sketchbook Project. Basically they send you a sketchbook, you put some art in it, send it back to them, then it goes on tour to galleries across America. Read more about it here:
http://www.arthousecoop.com/sketchbookproject

Every artist has a different theme, and the one I had was "First thing in the morning, last thing at night" I started with the last thing at night... a random statement thought right before drifting off to sleep. From there, the sketchbook flows in the same stream of consciousness way that dreams do: going from one thing to the next with loose connections, sometimes being interrupted by outside stimulus as you are awakened and fall back to sleep. And it all loops back to waking up again, and that first thought in the morning.

So here it is:
