i have still been doing work for z.vex, but i haven't gotten good pictures of much of my work lately, but here are a couple i stole from the website. ( zvex custom store )
i believe the comment of my supervisor when i turned them in was "your stuff is getting kind of dark."
so it goes.

new stuff...
Yesterday I googled myself. My blog had been pushed down behind two separate Jolene Schultz's Facebook pages. I'm still relevant. Stupid Googlebot.

my ode to H.P. Lovecraft
"Finders Creepers presents an event like no other, an evening of extremely rare films and art based upon the cosmic horror of celebrated author H.P. Lovecraft!!!"
I'm super excited to be included in the list of artists who did work for this show. You should go. You'll like it. It's gonna get weird.

The Sketchbook Project
Art House Co-op is doing this great thing called The Sketchbook Project. Basically they send you a sketchbook, you put some art in it, send it back to them, then it goes on tour to galleries across America. Read more about it here:
http://www.arthousecoop.com/sketchbookproject
Every artist has a different theme, and the one I had was "First thing in the morning, last thing at night" I started with the last thing at night... a random statement thought right before drifting off to sleep. From there, the sketchbook flows in the same stream of consciousness way that dreams do: going from one thing to the next with loose connections, sometimes being interrupted by outside stimulus as you are awakened and fall back to sleep. And it all loops back to waking up again, and that first thought in the morning.
So here it is:
See it in real life:
Brooklyn, NY
Austin, TX
San Francisco, CA
Portland, ME
Atlanta, GA
Chicago, IL
Washington, DC
Winter Park, FL
